How Hillary Clinton Could Have Avoided Dehydration

Hillary Clinton dehydration

As you may have read, Hillary Clinton’s health has been the subject of scrutiny for the past few weeks. Her frequent coughs, her fatigue, and then her passing out at the 9/11 memorial service have caused many to question her health and her ability to lead the country. This has also given Trump supporters serious ammunition against the Clinton campaign.

But, what is really going on with Hillary? Does she have some kind of serious illness that will leave the country in a lurch if she were to get elected? Does she have credibility as a competent leader that a president needs to have with other world leaders, instead of being seen as a weak senior citizen?

The answer may be surprising: Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton’s doctors have admitted that Hillary suffers from chronic dehydration -- an easily avoidable condition that comes with a host of undesirable effects, from fatigue to headaches to insomnia, just to name a few.

She is just not drinking water enough, nor is she drinking it regularly. It’s been reported by Politico that since Hillary refuses to drink water regularly, this has become a “source of tension” between her and her staff, but there may be a valid reason why Hillary isn’t drinking enough water. As you get older, you lose your sense of thirst, so you may not even feel thirsty when you’re dehydrated. This may be the case with Hillary. Her refusal to drink water may stem from the fact that she doesn’t feel thirsty, so she doesn’t feel the need to drink. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that women 60 and over drink significantly less water than the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) recommended 2.7 litres for women, which is the equivalent of 11 cups of water. The IOM recommends men drink 3.7 liters, the equivalent of 15 cups of water.

Hillary doesn’t have a serious illness (yet), but with chronic dehydration, she is opening herself up to serious illness. While headaches, fatigue, and insomnia may affect your quality of life, chronic dehydration can be devastating for your health, leading to diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, and cancer! And when you already have a disease like diabetes, the American Diabetes Association states that dehydration can lead to dangerously high levels of blood glucose, resulting in complications such as heart attack, kidney disease, blindness, and amputation.

Hillary could have avoided all of this speculation about her health and given herself a much-needed edge in her campaign simply by using the MyHydrate Smart Water Bottle to drink more water.

Not only does MyHydrate keep track of how much water you’re drinking to ensure proper hydration. The cap of the MyHydrate has a computer controlled Smart Disk, which features 8 LEDs which track your fluid intake. After each eight ounces of fluid is consumed, a LED lights up to show your progress. It also reminds you to drink if you haven’t drunk from the bottle in an hour by playing a little jingle The bottle is a BPA-free Tritan bottle, dishwasher safe, and does not ever need to be charged. The combination of tracking and reminding can turn chronic dehydration like Hillary Clinton’s around, helping eliminate the issues highlighted in the press. Not only has dehydration caused problems for Hillary’s health, but it’s also caused problems for her campaign.

Rumor has it that Hillary likes lemon in her water, so she would definitely like the spa infuser upgrade with her MyHydrate.
