First, remove electronic Smart Tracker from cap by gently sliding it in the direction of the arrow (see on the right), then lift up. Then, wash the dishwasher-safe cap and bottle.
Remember, do NOT immerse the electronic Smart Tracker in water or other liquids.
Insert Smart Tracker back into cap by dropping into slots, and sliding it in the direction of the arrow (see on the left).
1. Press and hold the Smart Tracker button for 8 seconds (see below). This fixes the “automatic daily reset time” that clears the memory, and automatically restarts the Smart Tracker every 24 hours. Set this once in the AM when you start your day.
2. Press the big drink button (see below) and confirm that the first LED is flashing while the button is pressed.
3. Add liquid to bottle and secure cap firmly (see below).
Do not overtighten.
1. Grasp cap in hand, and lift the flip cover. With spout facing toward mouth, press valve button (see on the right) and tip bottle until liquid pours out.
Let the liquid flow out naturally. Do not suck on the bottle to drink faster. The cap’s flow rate is carefully designed for proper hydration and accurate volume measurement.

To reset, press and hold the Smart Tracker button for 8 seconds (see below). This will cause all the LEDs to flash and beep. Consumption totals will be cleared, and the 24-hour clock will be reset to the present time. You can choose to reset at any time of day, but it’s best to reset at the start of your day. MyHydrate will automatically clear and reset tracking progress every 24 hours thereafter until it’s changed.You do not need to reset the Smart Tracker every day. It’s “set and forget“. Use this procedure only if you want to change the time of day that MyHydrate starts its 24-hour cycle.
To conserve battery life, LEDs do not stay illuminated. The 8 LEDs will flash sequentially one time each time you drink.The first LED will not illuminate until you’ve consumed the first 8 ounces (see below). After the first 8 ounces, each time you drink 8 ounces one or more LEDs will flash for 4 seconds to indicate your progress. Each LED indicates 8 ounces consumed. Press the Smart Tracker button at any time to check your progress. A congratulatory chime will sound when all 8 LEDs light up. After the first 8 ounces, each time you drink 8 ounces one or more LEDs will flash for 4 seconds to indicate your progress. Each LED indicates 8 ounces consumed. As recommended by medical professionals, hydration volumes should increase when temperatures rise above normal. The Smart Tracker has internal sensors that adjust goal volumes automatically. Goals return to normal when temperatures return to normal.
After each hour of inactivity, the MyHydrate Smart Tracker will flash and beep four times as a reminder to drink. While inactive, the reminder beep will sound at 1-hour intervals up to 3 consecutive times, then go silent until the next 24-hour cycle begins.
You can choose to silence the reminder beeps when those audible reminders might be distracting. Press the Smart Tracker button 3 times quickly to switch from Normal Mode (with hourly alerts) to “Quiet Mode” (without hourly alerts). The two center LEDs will flash 3 times.
